Hyundai
Pakistan used to be in markets of Pakistan back in 2004 with collaboration with
Dewan Farooq Motors, but they discontinued their services as they went bankrupt.
Later in 2017 Hyundai came back to Pakistan by partnering with Nishat group. They
have planned to set up their plant in Lahore, Punjab Pakistan.
Hyundai
Pakistan is all set to launch something new for its users and to compete the
big 3’s of Pakistan. They created hype in market of Pakistan by placing a countdown
on their official site in Pakistan and after that they displayed some of their variants
on their site.
The company
looked for places in major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore,
Karachi for their dealerships across the country.
The units that were displayed by the company included Hyundai Ioniq, Hyundai Sonata, Hyundai Tuscon, and Hyundai Santa Fe.
Hyundai Nishat Motors is all set to make its debut to Pakistan Automobile markets and to give a tough competition to existing entrants in market. Hyundai has decided to cover each sector including SUV's, Sedan and Hatchbacks. They have decided to launch their variants of all types including economical, luxurious and multi-purpose vehicles.
Hyundai recently launched its Hyundai Santa Fe in Feb 2020 with a price tag of 18 million Rupees. Yet it made its lovers disappointed as most of them were expecting to launch economical cars for its users. Later Hyundai Pakistan made it clear to its lovers that soon they will be launching economical cars in Pakistani markets with affordable price tags.
Hyundai Pakistan is on its mission of changing the technology in cars and so they introduced Hyundai Ioniq in markets which was a fully Hybrid car and it is the first ever local car of Pakistan, since the hybrid cars were imported from Japan. Moreover, Hyundai Pakistan is working on its mission of introducing affordable, economical and user friendly cars in Pakistan which would be one of their kinds in their leagues.
Hyundai is planning on launch of Hyundai Tuscon which would be a direct competitor to Honda HRV, Toyota Rush, and many imported cars including Toyota CRV, Toyota Rush (imported), Honda Vezel. Moreover, the company claims to provide its lovers and users with best quality cars with best specific features in affordable prices that are not provided by existing entrants in Pakistani automobile market.
